Our business was built around solving a problem that's becoming more and more common...ALLERGIES!!!

The best way to deal with allergies is to avoid the allergen or thing that you're sensitive to. But after developing adult-onset allergies, our creator Jessica, was having a hard time doing that especially at home. Even household items labeled "allergy friendly" or "natural" were causing flare-ups and allergic reactions. Plus the idea of using a product labeled "natural" that contributes to unnecessary plastic waste was troubling for her. So combining a knack for problem solving, her engineering background, and a passion for the environment , Greenhaven Home Essentials was born.

Our products were developed to harness the power of nature through science. Each item is mindfully made and outperforms the competition without the use of parabens, dyes, preservatives, animal byproduct, or artificial fragrances. So you can tackle your toughest messes but without the harsh chemicals. Plus everything down to the packaging is designed to have a minimal impact on the planet.

So if you're an allergy sufferer, have skin sensitivities, or are just looking to live a more eco-friendly lifestyle, Greenhaven was made for you.
Our Name
​​The origin of our name goes back to 2018 with the purchase of our very first home. It was there that we began making laundry powder and after several iterations we settled on the recipe that we currently produce today. But we didn't stop at laundry powder. Soon we started making other essentials and our home gradually became a refuge filled with our very own line of natural products. When it came time to share our products with everyone, it didn't take long to figure out a name.

In fact, it had been staring us in the face since the day we purchased our home. As it turns out, our home was located on Greenhaven Avenue! It was a serendipitous moment once we figured out that's exactly what we had created...a GREEN (eco-friendly/natural) HAVEN (safe space/refuge).​ It was settled and GREENHAVEN Home Essentials was born.
